Splashing about

P had her first session at the Superheroes Holiday Club today. It's run by the church and her best friends mum is one of the group leaders so I knew she was in good hands. Lily came and met her at the door and P followed her in happily.

Me and A then went to the local garden centre to drop off all the old clothes at the clothes bank. We then had a look at the animals and fish before heading to the coffee shop. Before we knew it, it was time to pick up P again. She had had a fantastic time and couldn't tell me quickly enough about the crafts they had done and the games they had played.

We came home for lunch and then went into town to the paddling pool at Central Park. It was mega busy there as the temperature was 25 degrees. We found a place to set up camp and then had a good splash about. P was straight in, there was no stopping her. A was a bit more apprehensive probably due to having fallen asleep in the car on the way there. After sitting and watching for a while he eventually built up the courage to get in. It was a fab way to end my last full day with P on her summer holidays.
