H.M.S. Prison Peterhead

Been a great day, really warm and sunny.

Me and Paula stayed up late watching telly and chatting, so this morning's plans fell behind schedule.  We finally got ourselves sorted and we headed up to Peterhead for a run, and lunch too.  I dropped Paula back home after, and had to say our goodbyes, but shouldn't be long until we see each other again.  Made my way down to the ferry and hope it's a smooth sail home to Shetland.

Paula announced to me that the old Peterhead prison is now a museum, so it was a must see attraction.  Built in 1888, it's been a notorious prison since. The history in the cells, riots etc was scary stuff and glad I've kept clear of that lifestyle, although all very interesting to hear about and happy to leave the walls and make my way home :)  Taken in the social area in the prison, with pool, table tennis and darts available for inmates.  D hall, H.M.S. Prison Peterhead.
