Day 242 of 366 - Holy Trinity Church in Hatton!
Today's image was taken in the Village of Hatton in Warwickshire. The view is of the parish church of Holy Trinity. The church as can be seen here was mostly rebuilt in 1880, the West Tower however probably dates back to the early 16th century. There are church records for Burials that date back to 1538, records for Marriages and Baptisms began in 1589. It is thought that the bowl of the Font dates back to the 13th century, it was however cut to fit on a much more modern base.
The photo was taken using the app Camera Awesome on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Snapseed to edit the picture. I cropped and straightened the image and applied the Tonal Contrast preset. I then boosted the Ambiance, Warmth and Sharpness. After this I used the selective brightness feature on just the Church to help make it more visible by taking away some of the shadow areas. Next I used a the app Brushstroke to apply the Oil painting O4 preset. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Clarity preset. I then added the Stucco Texture and the Charcoal frame.
