Christmas in Glagow
My N.Y.C.O.S. youth choir were singing at the Glasgow Winterfest this afternoon.
The organisers of this event had packed in a lot of events into George Square in the centre of Glasgow, including rides, stalls, a beautiful Christmas tree and a skating rink, as well as a big stage for all the performers.
The choir did me proud and they sang their wee hearts out. Then two girls from the choir and myself were interviewed by Smooth radio (a local station).
Then my hubby and I went up to the Piping Centre for coffee - Had a lovely dinner at the "Dradon i" restaurant, then went over to the Royal Concert Hall to hear a fabulous concert, including Listz's piano concerto played by John Lill.
Please excuse the poor quality of the picture - the light was fading by 3.45p.m.
All in all a very busy day.
P.S. Caught ratty this morning. ( One down, probably hundreds to go!)
