Accidental Abstract
Celebrating our daughter's fiftieth birthday in Melbourne on the weekend, we were in the "shabby chic" suburb of Brunswick where they live. Here the leafy streets are filled with Edwardian and Victorian terrace houses, many renovated, but all maintaining their original facade. This pic fascinated me because the abstract effect that is there is because I shot this from within the dining room, looking through the window, and the fly wire screen to this lovely magnolia growing against a somewhat rustic paling fence, close to the neighbour's house. It is virtually SOOC, with just some cropping out of the window frame. The reflections are of the set table before the we all sat down for a sumptuous Moroccan meal. Fabulous family day!
