Stunt riders

A beautiful, sunny Bank Holiday Monday for the Glendale Show. MrM and I went on the shuttle bus from Wooler, spent a very pleasant day wandering round, and walked home.

All the usual things - agricultural machinery, livestock of all kinds (except pigs, though we saw some of those on the way home), local produce, country crafts and clothing, information stalls about all sorts of countryside pursuits, a falconry display... and a death-defying stunt motorcycle display. Managed a couple of shots of these guys in the air and several shots of nothing but blue sky!

We resisted the temptation to watch the contestants in the 'Best Dressed Lady of the Show' parading (so disappointed NOT that my usual jeans and T-shirt look failed to qualify me for this competition!) and joined some friends in the beer tent instead.
