Butterfly Beetle

Took my camera out w/me while walking Apollo and no sooner had I popped onto the street than I was presented w/this glorious sight.

Anyone reading this who's been on my blog will know I love a good Beetle [As if to prove a point, the photo I took this time last year, of course, was of a Beetle! I've just noticed after publishing] and this country is rightly infected.

This particular specimen being the right mix of dilapidated and customised for my taste. I too love "Old Skool"!

Apollo was none too impressed being tied to a nearby tree while I snapped away.

And I'm led to believe, that 'Kafer' is slang for a bad driver over here and not connected to nasty South African slang at all.
