The whiff of autumn

was in the air this morning.. and the solitary robin song is ringing out in the garden.  I took a friend to visit  a garden to get inspiration for some autumn colour and was taken by a few plants although l think this particular garden may have been more interesting in the spring summer.  Leucanthemum, Gaillardia and Salvia (hot lips!) and penstemmon and Echinacea particularly caught my eye though so will look out for some of those to fill in a few gaps for next autumn.
