Perfect Timing

He started the job in glorious sunshine, but ended it just as the rain started:-)  How's that for perfect timing?

Just some wood to be replaced and a new coat of varnish or paint and it will last another 20 years!

TJ's timing may have been excellent, but I can't say the same for the plasterers who were supposed to come back at 1 pm today.  They eventually arrived after 4 pm (although they did keep me advised of the delay by several phone calls) and at least they managed to get the next stage done in a couple of hours.  They should be back again at 8 am tomorrow to sand down the ceilings, but I won't hold my breath:-)  They are trying to juggle too many jobs at once, as so many contractors seem to do.
