~Elysian Fields~
~A Place For Heroes and The Virtuous~
In Greek mythology, the Elysian Fields was the final destination for those that were brave of heart and possessed a righteous and good soul. It was said to be located at the western edge of the Earth. It was the much sought after place to spend eternity, as opposed the realm called Hades. One could remain there after death, to live a privileged and happy life, working at whatever job that would make you the happiest. The skies were said to be magnificent in color and beauty, and the land was grand beyond all expectation. A true paradise off in the distance, calling all, bidding us to be kind, good and unafraid.
Thanks for visiting Elysium tonight.

By the bye, I was blown away by the response to last nights photograph. I knew I like it and that it was something to be proud of. But darn, you all overwhelmed me with your comments, stars, favorites, and subscriptions. I wish I could thank each and everyone of you for your generous and wonderful compliments. I am reminded that I should refresh your collective memories that because of my debilitating dyslexia, responding to you all would be a task that would gain me entrance into The Elysian Fields. Something I'm not quite ready to accept ;o)
So Thanks To You, My Friends!!!
