Why this title? There are two reasons. As you will see, I've replaced my lost iPhone today, so I am connected again, and I also thought that it would be appropriate to test its camera the first day.
I also reconnected with my old fried Jeremy today (see blip)! He lives here in Lausanne (where I am today), with his lovely wife Lindsay. They prepared a superb Mexican meal, and provided a great conversation, as always.

Now, my concern is Jeremy. I have known him for some odd fifteen years, and he claims to be Scottish! I know quite a few Scots and they all sound Scottish. Jeremy does not, he sounds kind of English... Still I want to trust my friend, and I have been looking for clues as to his Scottishness.
- The first interesting sign of authenticity is the fact that he has had the same car for the 15 years I have know him (I'm on my 12th).
- A few year ago, I celebrated a significant anniversary with a biggish party. Dress code: Smart Casual! Jeremy turned up in a kilt and a Nazareth t-shirt.
- I have also met his wonderful parents, and they sound decidedly Scottish.
I'm beginning to think that he is telling the truth. (Lindsay have also mentioned something about hollow legs...). Let's give Jeremy the benefit of the doubt.

The really good new is that Jeremy has promised to join blipfoto, and I hope to be in the position to make an appropriate introduction tomorrow!
