#NMSAfterHours
A long, but enjoyable day today saw us leave the flat at 11.30am, then not get back in until around 1am.
First up, was lunch with Holly's parents at Gusto, followed by a quick catch-up with Holly's sister. Later in the afternoon, we went for a cocktail or two in the Dome (pictured yesterday) before going to our first show of the day.
Dave Alnwick was good - a mix of comedy, mind-reading and magic, though he does point out that he isn't really reading minds, it's all in stats, body language and the power of suggestion. This time, I was back on stage to pick a card, and have him accurately predict which one I had gone for.
Straight across town after this show to the National Museum of Scotland, for their After Hours night. Great to be able to explore the Museum without any kids, and getting the chance to play on the racing game and the reactions game. Holly won the driving, I won the reactions. With food and drink there too, with various Fringe acts on stage and roaming about, it was a great night.
Afterwards, we finished the Fringe week off with some cocktails at the Edinburgh Gin bar, before going back to Holly's flat.
