Sunny Sunday

All sunny except for a short spell of rain at noon when I moved my washed clothes outside for a quick dry-up.

Watched the screen all day for 1) an academic group online communication as I was on duty and needed to write a summary afterwards; 2) Emily's flights - the one from her city to Beijing was delayed and she was given wrong message that the luggage could not be transferred automatically. She went bananas for a while.

Then she rushed, with the help of the airline staff, to get the connection and went onboard on time. The flight was some 15 minutes later than scheduled take-off time.

Now just waiting for her to land at Manchester...
