Day 241 Air Conditioning, Old School

I was taken by these wide open windows and thought of how this old style air conditioning has almost vanished in favour of electrical AC.  This solution is easier on the plant and electricity bill too.

I'm not pleased with the quality of the photo, but the subject is fine.

On second thoughts, shouldn't the window be open at the bottom AND top to encourage air circulation?
