Very Nearly .......

No sunrise this morning unfortunately.
Or eagles, buzzards or such.
But there were deer jumping about.
Whilst walking the policies I found a good crop of opium in the greenhouse.
We were treated to a fine breakfast before we headed off.

There was a slightly ciruituous route home -we were in no hurry.
So we went via Comrie where I went for a walk up to the Deil's Cauldron.
I parked next to a fancy bonnet ornament. and passed a nice wee red mushroom (and a load of white ones) before I got to the bit where I slipped, slid down the slope and nearly fell in ..... which was quite near where my 12-24mm lens rolled down the slope and nearly fell in.

That was when I thought discretion was the better part of valour and didn't fancy testing the theory of "accidents come in threes" - so I headed back to the car and we headed off to Doune Castle to get a shot for the camera club's scavenger hunt.
Despite appearances the place was heaving with coach loads of people. I blame the series 'Outlander'.

I should have realised that after a foggy start to the day that there was going to be a sunset and that I would have been better going to South Queensferry or similar instead of my back bedroom to get a decent shot of it to round of a nice couple of days.
