The Castle Swim

I hadn't realised today was the annual castle swim until I met my brother and sister in law in town this morning. So I went along to keep Jane company while Ian swam; the photograph is of him at the finish. He came 4th which was pretty good even if the three ahead of him were women.

After the swim we went for an early evening meal at the Octopus. The food was good but service a total shambles so I certainly can't recommend it to anyone even though the decor is pretty smart.
