Just married

Today's the day .......................... to fly the flag

After all the excitement of yesterday, we put on a bit of a do at our place for friends and relatives to drop by - before most of them had to travel home. 

We had a special flag for the new flagpole, recently erected in the front garden, to mark the event.  This is the ceremonial lowering at the end of another wonderful day.  John and Roma were the first guests to arrive - and the last to go - and as always, it was so good to see them.

It's going to be hard to return to normal life after all this partying ......................!
