Soaked in S'oaks!

Went to Sevenoaks this morning, to Knole Park for a walk... but the weather surprised us and we got rained upon.

We checked out the sausage rolls in the newly opened café and headed off across the field when the heavens opened. There were no people about and no deer until we spotted this one through the raindrops. It made a beeline for us (perhaps thinking we had food) and even came right up to the pram before heading off.

Such a close encounter!

Baby L then decided that was the time to start shouting and would not be calmed. So we aborted our walk and headed home.

She's been in a funny mood all day - perhaps due to the really bad night we had last night when we put her to bed in her own room for the first time. We'll try again tonight.
