Life's a beach

Arrived in Mauritius this afternoon, and while the "winter" weather here is usually nicely mild and calm, today there's a bit of a cyclone thing going on - we have high winds, and the sea off the "Wild Beach" pictured here is decidedly choppy. (Waves are off to the left of this picture here.)

The rubbly stuff you can see in the foreground is actually coral. I haven't notice it here before, but I'm guessing the rough sea has broken chunks off the reef and the tide's been sweeping them in to this corner of the beach.
