Birds, lunch and BFG's!

After the bestie left we headed out to see Chris's Dad, Gran and Uncle for lunch.  Its not often we see Chris's uncle as he lives in Canada.  On the way to the restaurant this magnificent Kite was flying quite low.  Chris managed to find a safe place to stop for me to hop out of the car to try to get some shots.  This is a very head crop but I am reasonably happy with the results as they are not easy birds to photograph when in flight mode!!
 Lunch was very nice and Chris's gran treated us all which was very kind of her.

After lunch we decided to ditch the start of the decorating and headed out to the cinema to see BFG.  Home now and I think we are going to chill out and I may even find time to start reading a book I have been wanting to read.
