wee leon's birthday

We had a brilliant day down in Marseille today.  We arrived at lunchtime and had something to eat with Pierre's mum and dad. Then we went to visit Papy Bebert (Annie's dad).

In the afternoon, we drove out to Les Pennes Mirabeau (where the recent forest fires had ruined a lot of landscape - it was crazy to see the blackened hillsides).  We were there for Leon's 5th birthday and we celebrated with sweets and cake in the sunshine :) This is Leon with his mum and dad, Stefanie and Matthieu.

After the party, we went back into Marseille and had dinner at Chez Vincent.  Knackering but brilliant day :)
