Criccieth

Between Porthmadog and Criccieth is a small lay by that allows you to see some really beautiful views of the Castle on the mound at Criccieth.
But as l turned to look down over Cardigan Bay towards Harlech, the light bouncing off the sea, as the sun burnt off the cloud, had to be my blip for today.
We called into Criccieth and had coffee and scones at The Blue China Cafe overlooking the sea. The portions were enormous, each scone was easily the size of two, amazingly we scoffed one each with no problem! ( note for next time, get one to share ).
Then we walked up to the castle, walked along the front and then back to the car in an effort to burn off some calories.
Now back at our base sat on the deck enjoying another hot and sunny day.
