The Big Game

Spent today around the London 2012 Olympic Park - fantastic atmosphere, huge numbers of people, lovely atmosphere.

Afternoon entertainment was a water polo double header between Serbia and Romania (which Serbia won 12-4), and between Hungary and the USA (which Hungary won 11-6). Haven't been to a water polo match before - it is fantastic end-to-end entertainment, and when you add in a very vocal and enthusiastic Hungarian crowd it makes for a very memorable event. We appeared (at least judging from the people around us) to have got tickets returned by the Hungarian water polo association!

The blip was taken towards the end of the match where the white-capped Hungarians were fending off a very spirited US attempt to restore some respectability to the score.
