Balmoral Castle

We visited Balmoral on the last day of the visitor's season. It closes to the public from 1st August to allow the Royal Family to come for a holiday. I was very impressed with the grounds. But the public does not get to see any of the rooms apart from the Ballroom which is more of a museum and art gallery with a display of some of the Queen's special occasion dresses.
