Long and winding road...

with freshly painted lines.  Many of the roads here are winding and many have no centre lines.  The lines on the main road were recently repainted, but many of the secondary roads like ours have no lines or shoulders at all.  I walk this road often and have to be really careful when cars approach.  I'm always amazed at how fast people drive and how so few slow down for a walker.  I doubt that I've seen anyone drive the posted speed limit along here, 40 km/h.  Confession:  I often drive faster than that myself but I always slow down for walkers and cyclists.
