Life on the Good Intent

SmellyVision

I didn't take a camera to work today and when I got home G and I were occupied booking ferry crossings for him to visit his parents.
After a dinner of cold beans and yesterday's cava I still had no blip. Poor Deco is still shell shocked at having to wear the collar of shame to let his bitten bottom heal (no doubt a future blip) I left him in peace as he is finding it hard enough to navigate without having a flash going off in his face.
So although it was nearly dark and not quite 10pm I went into the garden to blip another sign of summer's passing - the newly emerged cyclamen flowers.
As I attempted to get a sharp blip without lying down on the wet grass I was aware of the most delicious scent, the yellow honeysuckle above. Instantly I remembered why I had gone to the trouble of transporting it from my Glasgow garden - its heady evening perfume. Its bloom won't win any prizes but I wish I could share its heavenly aroma. Perhaps BlipCentral are working on an app!
