Welcome home

Almost to Taos.  Stopped at a beautiful Colorado state park for a picnic. Alice wanted to hang out in the Airstream since there were stickers in the grass.
The night before we stayed in John Martin Reservoir State Park, well known for birdwatching.  I was thrilled to hear Mississippi Kites and their calling back and forth with the juveniles who sit in the trees and call for food.  I was able to capture a moment of feeding, though a bit blurry, and a sweet shot of a juvenile - in the extras. They are feasting and getting ready to migrate to South America.
