Flight of the Dolly

A flying theme today! I took wee yellow (Jake) to the vet this morning, to get his lump checked out! His wing sits out from it, and you can see it just underneath his wing here! After a discussion with the vet, we are going to keep a close eye on it and take a wait and see approach! The lump is apparently in a bit of a difficult area, there is a main vein that runs through here! He doesn't seem to be in pain and can still fly, so we don't want to rush into a risky surgery if we don't need to! Our vet is likely going to refer us to an exotics specialist for surgery, the same vet they were going to send Kiki to actually! We will see how he is on Monday and go from there!

In the afternoon I took a trip down to Largs for the start of the Viking festival! I wanted to see this plane, I've never seen a biplane flying before, it put on a great display! Apparently, there is a Lancaster flying next week, but I'm going up to my mums, so I won't get to see it!
