Canadian National Exhibition time...

I won 4 tickets to the CNE so my sweetie and i spent the afternoon there (i donated the other 2 tix to friends). It was alot of fun, hot and very well attended (ie packed). We watched the cooking demo with a favorite Canadian chef, Mark McEwan (restaurants North 44, Bymark, McEwans and Pusateris). Exotic octupus, home fries, olives and colourful dips looked amazing. After double scoop ice cream cones and alot of wandering we headed home for some a/c and downtime. Early to bed tonight....i am on the road at 7 a.m. to attend a full day yoga retreat, 2 hrs east of us. I have been looking so forward to this day!
