Skiddaw

A lovely day in Cumbria today so knowing it would be very busy in the lakes went out early evening for a walk up Latrigg which I haven't done for ages.   I should have gone an hour earlier as the light was fading quite quickly as it started to cloud over.  I always enjoy this view of Skiddaw and was pleased to see the heather was still out  It was very quiet there, saw four people plus a girl on a horse.  Oh and a guy who was walking the Cumbria Way and who was going to camp by the car park but wouldn't put his tent up until all the cars had gone!
