Diamond & Opal Ring

This was a gift from my late mother in law. To be honest I don't like it much and have never worn it. Penny doesn't like it either. Chris's future father in law is something of a diamond expert so this evening I went to see him to talk through how we might change it.....! He tells me that the opals don't have any great value. So we have decided to use the gold from the ring to make a new eternity style ring and use the 4 diamonds (and add some) to make something that I will like. I am really excited - I have never done anything like this before. Can't wait!
