The Spinnaker

After breakfast we went back to the shops at Gunwharf Quay, which is a designer shopping outlet.  I got a couple of things from M&S and Alan got a leather bag from work for his laptop.  It was a great buy, being originally £195 and reduced to £49!

We then went up the Spinnaker Tower, but unfortunately the view wasn't as good as it would have been yesterday as it was very hazy.  They have a cafe at 110ft so we sat and had a drink looking over towards the historic dockyard.  We could see HMS Victory, but decided not to go to the dockyard as it was very busy and also expensive at £30 per person.

This afternoon we've had a walk around Old Portsmouth which was nicer than we'd expected.

We've just picked the boys up from Elaine's, had some more puppy cuddles with the babies, and are now on our way home.

It's been a lovely couple of days and there's still another two days of the weekend left which is great!

I decided to blip this more unusual angle of the Spinnaker Tower, and will try and put the  'normal' view in my extras - can you believe people were abseiling down it?!
