Mustang Sally
I walked over the tops this morning to Port Mulgrave and watched as tiny fishing boats sat in mill pond seas, the glare of a late summers morning burning a home into my memory bank.
Time. It's been a referring theme to me over my fortnight here and now, as we return inland, I think on what I feel I've learnt, what thoughts I can hold close to help me be more effective in my day. These boats pretty much top the list as their stillness in gentle seas becomes a clear metaphor to the way I want to be, to live.
Rain came later and I return in my mind to the peace of this morning. May this be my mantra.
