Runners on the road

The 35th annual Hood to Coast Relay is happening this weekend. This year the 199 mile race will include 12,600 runners. The walkers and high school teams tackle Portland to coast. Each team has two support vehicles - that means a lot of extra traffic on the roads besides the runners themselves. Returning from Portland tonight took longer than normal. I tried to catch a blip on the go, the results were dismal. In this one you could at least tell there was a human in front of the pack.
