Sound in a Vacuum

They say sound can't propagate in a vacuum, but I beg to differ after hearing the wonderful sounds that passed through these glass globes filled with nothing.  A friend hosted a listening party for his new album tonight and staged it at a hi-fi store filled with all sorts of expensive tube amplifiers.  Tubes are beautiful things, not only for the sonic qualities they impart upon the sound that flows electronically through them, but also for the sights they present to the eyes.  This one looks like a tiny, electronic high-rise building all lit for night.
