Gold Card

Since we moved to this house in 2002, I've only ridden a bus to town a few times. The service to our area just isn't very good -- one an hour, during business hours only -- and we live up a steep hill, half a mile from the closest stop. Nevertheless, when I discovered that I could get a piece of cake, a cup of coffee, and a free bus pass today, I eagerly accepted the offer.

I am now a Gold-Card-carrying WTA* Preferred Customer. This honor is only conferred on those reaching the age of three score and ten plus five.
I think I'll go for a bus ride.
