Friends and rowers

The girls are definitely just humoring me with a row today.  (Nice and appreciated!). The conditions couldn’t be more perfect for it…and it’s only NOON!    Not too hot yet.  I wanted the photo as I’m not sure when it will happen next…!  Mostly there was a scowl on Tatum —(as in the extra - looking amazingly like her Dad!!I know this look!) )—I know.. I know… not everyone LIKES boats,  but it couldn’t be better than with your bff, could it?   And she’s totally got it..she could be be a good rower.   Sigh.  They get the rest of the day to do whatever, altho I hope they’ll help bake a pie.


Right after this our friends arrived at the dock on their sailboat for a couple days… 2 colleagues of H that we’ve done lots of backpacking with and sailing in the past. I’m finding digital photos (from our slides) from those adventures in the 70s. Fun.  There will be more stories at dinner tonight…will get a picture later...  edit:the other extra
