Leicester Critical Mass

A very memorable, emotional and very well attended Leicester Critical Mass tonight. We rode in memory of 26 year old Sam Boulton who was tragically killed on this spot on London Road outside the railway station on July 27th, it was his birthday. I didn't know Sam but Ive been very touched by the courage of Sam's fiancé, Alia, who has been bravely paying heartfelt tributes to him on local media and highlighting the need for safer roads.

Sad to reflect that a life with so much potential has been taken away so young, it reminds me to much of the loss we endured in 2010, and still live with today. I dearly hope Sam's family, friends and especially fiancé can find some comfort in tonights events.
