Scraggane Pier, Dingle Peninsula, Ireland

Sheep were being brought across from an island to the mainland on a kind of ferry with a trailing platform. On arrival those on the platform were off loaded, but those on the boat itself were herded off the back and had to swim ashore. See extra photo. 

This young sheep was put in a small rowing boat and taken back to the island. I am not sure why it was brought across in the first place.
