A day at the Safari Park

L and I have been promising ourselves a visit to the Safari Park for some time ... today was the day and we weren't disappointed.  We couldn't use my car for the drive round the reserve ... soft topped cars had to be left at the gate and we had a personal tour in one of the safari buses.  The driver was great telling us about the animals we saw.

After our tour we collected my car and went up to the centre where had a good wander about.  The otters were hard to spot but our patience paid off and two suddenly appeared and posed for the camera.

The extra is a magnificent yellow-billed kite who was part of the Birds of Prey flying demonstration ..... until the the heavens opened and the rain descended.
