Part of our Apple Crop
Yesterday I pictured some pears on one of our pear trees, so today I thought I would take a picture of part of our apple crop. We have five apple trees, four of which are mature and one of which is about ready to bear fruit next year. Today’s blip is of the two trees nearest the house and adjacent to the cherry tree. The tree on the left, with the red apples, is just about ready for picking, while the one to the right with the green apples will be ready in about a week. Both of these apples are excellent for eating, although the green ones also cook very well; I do not know what varieties either of these are. As you can see we have a very good apple crop, the other two productive trees have a similar yield.
