Kopervik

Staying in Kopervik for a week - it was cheaper than staying here for 5 days which was the original plan.

Don't really know what to make of the place. Would I stay here again -probably not. Would I stay on the Island that it is the capital of - definately yes.

To say that it seems to be a sleepy harbour town would give the impression of more going on than there actually is. Main businesses seem to be hairdressers and coffee shops. Some really lovely houses in the town but the main harbour area could do with a real good tidy up, and demolition in some parts. There are least three other towns that would be brilliant places to stay on the Island and Haugesund is only 16 miles away.

Do want to come back to Karmoy sometime though if only for Skudneshavn.
