Tiede by Night

What a fantastic tour this was. We had a great guide who taught us about the volcanic island of tenerife as we travelled up into the mountain. We stopped off at a cafe half way up and had a coffee , then headed further up to a lovely restaurant where we enjoyed a lovely meal with great wine. When we reached the top the champagne flowed as we watched the sun setting. Just fabulous. We then stayed for a night time star watch, absolutely fascinating. Spotted mars and saturn and saw a couple of satellites passing by and many other constellations. At the end of the evening we travelled back to the restaurant to have more champagne. Just a wonderful evening with great company.
