Strong activity

We talk about the weather every day ... It depends on the weather forecast where we choose to spend our holidays ... Before we dress ourself it's better to check the weather outside ... Being a photographer in Iceland it's common to photograph the beauty of the nature only when the sun is shining ... 

In August the weather has been just great. It's been warm outside, up to +20°C, very calm and sunny. Even when it's only +11°C ... with no wind it feels like +20°C. I spent the first 9 days of the month in Reykjavík ... in beautiful weather, sun with some showers. The weather in Akureyri has also been fine, warm and so calm. During some mornings it's been fog but at noon the sun has appear and disappear again in the evening when the fog comes back. 

I went outside this evening (backblip) to photograph the fog in town (see the extra photo) But I also found a spot where I could see a clear sky. It was a great surprise to see so strong activity and colourful northern lights at this time of the year.
