What keeps I going!

Pills pills........are they really all needed? I wonder what would happen if I just stopped. A friend was on some blood pressure tablets and asked his doctor if he could stop.."definitely not - look how your blood pressure is under control. No you can't stop taking them".
So he did without telling the doctor and a couple of months later went back for a check up. His doctor said "you see how good your blood pressure is - the pills are doing you good" he then told him he hadn't taken them for a couple of months......! No real answer was forthcoming. So I wonder........
