Round hay round a day

Another absolutely fabulous day today.
The fabulous bit started about 7pm last night. We were heading out to Salvos in Leeds to celebrate me being back in the UK. Without me realising it D was trying to delay is setting off. Then there was a knock at the door, I was standing closest and as I owned it D said 'that will be the taxi'. I acknowledged the taxi driver and turned round to D to start to remonstrate on expense of a taxi. Split second later my brain caught up with my eyes, I let out a 'shit' rather loudly as I realised it was G at the door. A friend who I haven't seen for over 15 years! It was AWESOME- he had travelled over from Liverpool to come spend the evening with us. I was so chuffed.
The festivities carried on today. This is a shot of the lake at Roundhay park in Leeds - after our walk We headed off to Pool-in-wharfie sale for lunch with the 'Ladies of Lawnswood ' most of which I hadn't seen for 10 years and one I hadn't seen for 16!
Then to finish off I had a nervous breakdown on the ring road (Leeds festival traffic) and so called into another pal who haven't seen for 10 years. Bloody brilliant!!
