Evening Rainbow

I noticed the sky turning quite an "angry" colour last evening while watching Bake Off (as you do!) and then my husband looked up and said there was an amazing rainbow in the sky.  So I dashed out and captured these images.  It was impossible to get the whole rainbow in as I couldn't get far enough away but these give an idea.  It was actually almost a double rainbow.

Looking at Nickimags888's blip for today I gather that what we saw might in fact have been a "moonbow" as technically the sun had set by the time we went outside.  Check out her journal for today! 

Anyway, whatever it was, it was rather spectacular!
