Corner shop

Or, if you can't find it here then you won't find it anywhere. This amazing store is at the corner of our road and it sells just about everything.  If you want a mop or a hair comb they will have it.  It is quite dark inside.

Last night/early this morning we got a lot of rain.  Hubby has had to go to the bank this morning and he tells me that at the moat there is an uprooted tree and lots of flooding.  The only evidence I have seen is the flooded ditch where new drains are  being laid.  See my extra.  You may also  notice that the ditch is not deep enough. The road is very narrow so we are hoping they are not putting a footpath.
