2016 Wednesday -- Dinner Friends
Every now and then dinner provides a nourishment that has nothing to do with food. That was our experience tonight.
John & Gail Douglas (on the left) just arrived from Zambia, Africa. It has been 10 years since their last trip there. They were missionaries in Zambia for almost 19 years and returned to America in 1992 when they realized the church they had help to start in Chipata was mature and were more than ready to lead themselves. They spent the next several years ministering in our city and then they moved to Anacortes, WA, because a church there had asked them to come.
Karen & Dick (on the right) , who have years of history with the Douglases and with us, brought them to Corona this evening from LAX.
Mr. Fun & I (in the middle) enjoyed ourselves immensely as we all ate and talked and laughed and laughed about the good old times together.
