Logie Steading
The day was again a search for sunshine. We headed in a generally northerly direction towards the Moray Firth. We stopped off for lunch at Logie Steading. Venison burger, very nice. Although there were cows in the adjacent fields I didn't notice any deer. Perhaps the venison burgers cleared them out?
After lunch we had a wonder around the walled garden next to the Logie Estate house. The landscaping of the garden was revised in 2009 and a small burn previously hidden in an underground pipe was brought back to the surface. It is now a major feature of the garden, and has been very attractively landscaped.
The sun came out briefly at Logie Steading, however we proceeded through the clouds to Findhorn. Here we finally found an oasis of warmth and sunshine. A short walk along the beach and a a seat with a beer next to the shore helped to top up the tan.
